I was wondering how many of you saved your baby’s cord blood, which seems to be the latest trend? Obviously it is worth it if you ever need it but otherwise it seems awfully costly. I’m 8 months pregnant and debating about what to do. Any opinions?

Would highly appreciate to hear from guys who have already done it
We’re expecting our baby at the end of December. I’ve been reading information on banking your baby’s cord blood. It seems like it has the possiblity to be very beneficial, but it also seems to have a lot of unknowns, also (no guaruntee that you’ll ever need it, for example). What are your thoughts on banking cord blood?
Any suggestions on which bank to use …good or bad experiences in banking your baby’s cord blood will be helpful.
