Cord Blood Banking

Im 13 weeks pregnant and seriously thinking of donating my babies cord blood, when the time comes. Has any of you done it? What do you think about it? Would you do it?

Has anyone here donated or banked their cord blood? I’ve been looking at information online and am interested. My hospital also participates in cord blood donation. I was wondering if anyone here had done it, or needed cord blood and any experiences they had with the process.

My hospital gives me the option of donating cord blood. This is apparently different from cord blood banking since the cord blood can be used by anyone and it is free.
